I am so happy to be finally showing all of you my daughters completed room. It took too long, it was hard work, I'm tired and I literally never want to paint again. All that being said, it was totally worth it!
I'm going to show pictures today, and then I'll go over all the details on Mondays post of where everything's from, and prices and paint colors and any details that I think you could be interested in.
Here are a few before pictures, in case you forget, or are new here.
And After
And side by side before & after
I hope you all liked it!

ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing sanctuary for your little girl. Your reveal has given me so many ideas for my daughter's room. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteJen! It looks amazing! I'm sure it's a room that will grow with Kennedy, since the colour scheme is more sophisticated. I love all the homemade art galleries and craft projects in the room. Well done!
ReplyDeleteLove the room! The owl themed bedding is so cute too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect space for a little girl! I love how your put it all together and it's a definite improvement from before! I really enjoy all of the different color accents. A little pink here, and a little yellow there.
ReplyDeleteHow completely lovely! I adore the white background with the amazing pops of color. Those hanging pom-poms are a gorgeous addition, and the makeshift bookshelf is adorable. I also love the scattered miniature gallery walls that create a fabulous texture! You did a wonderful job. :-)
ReplyDeleteWow, now that's a makeover! I love every shot, it's hard to pick my favorite. The little bookshevles on the wall are adorable and practical, the wall of yellow (owl, dresser, birdcage) is to DIE for, and the yellow and white puffs are such a great/cheap way of adding so much style. Great job Jen! I love it all!
ReplyDeleteI love how much brighter it is now! And those pops of yellow are so fun! I also love the little bookshelves with her books all on display!
ReplyDeleteI love the new gray, pink, & yellow! So bright and fun. I love your style, so I'm passing on a Liebster Blog Award to you: http://delectablehome.blogspot.com/2012/03/first-id-like-to-thank-academy.html

ReplyDeleteIt's lovely Jen, fresh and bright with a bit of a funky twist.
ReplyDeleteLove those little book shelves and the gallery walls - do I spy a map of where you spent the first few years of your life ?
Well worth the labor of love! The room looks so fresh. I love the colors you chose for the furniture. The vignette on the ledge shelf is striking. I LOVE that yellow owl. The art arrangements on the wall are so skillfully arranged...and I love the themes of each. The most beautiful thing in the room, of course, is your little girl. She is adorable! She actually looks a lot like a little girl I know who is probably close in age.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing the room up close in your next post.
